How do I power my NH3x automatic watch?
The NH35 is an automatic movement that powers itself through the motion of your wrist. Simply wearing the watch regularly will keep it running. If your watch has stopped, you can also manually wind it by rotating the crown clockwise (away from you) 20-30 times. This winds the mainspring, storing enough energy to power the watch for up to 41 hours.
-
What is the accuracy of the NH3x vs VK63 movements?
The NH35 movement is known for its accuracy, generally within -20 to +40 seconds per day. The VK63, being a hybrid of quartz and mechanical, offers more precision, typically within +/- 20 seconds per month due to its quartz regulation.
-
How does the VK63 series differ from the NH35 series?
The NH3x series is a fully mechanical, automatic movement, meaning it uses a rotor and a mainspring to keep time without needing a battery. On the other hand, the VK63 is a meca-quartz movement, which combines quartz precision with mechanical chronograph features. While the NH35 is powered by wrist movement or manual winding, the VK63 runs on a battery and offers smoother chronograph hand movement due to its mechanical elements.
